Totó Mediterranean Restaurant is a thriving part of the Fairfield restaurant scene, and it’s not your average pan-Mediterranean bistro.
Owner Antonio Ninivaggi brings a warm approach to this restaurant and an unwavering commitment to fresh, seasonal ingredients and the simple and healthy flavors of the Mediterranean.
Ninivaggi brings his vision to the menu with attention to sourcing the finest ingredients including always hormone free meat, GMO free olive oil, a full line of gluten free pasta, and pizza crust imported directly from Italy. Crowd favorites like Grilled Octopus, Greek Tomato Salad, lamb Chops, Sicilian Rice Balls, Crabmeat Stuffed Shrimp, homemade Humus and Tzatziki are joined on the menu with Lemon Caper Sole, Crackling Calamari Salad, Baked Whole Seabass and more.
While it’s roots are Mediterranean, Totó’s Menu adds a layer of diversity, including the Totó Burger with its grass fed beef, organic bacon, vermont cheddar, gourmet gribiche sauce on brioche. The standard of quality Totó promises isn’t lost on any item.
To round out their dedication to Fairfield County’s diverse dietary needs and healthy lifestyles, Totó has a full line of gluten free offerings that extends well beyond pastas to a creative use of gluten free flours on many menu items.
The popular outdoor patio is enclosed and temperature controlled for guests to enjoy every day from April to late October. A full bar menu includes specialty cocktails, a large selection of wines by the glass and bottle along with craft beers from local breweries. A well-trained staff extends a warm welcome and a personal touch to its service.
Antonio Ninivaggi has worked in the restaurant industry his entire career and has most recently built his portfolio to include the highly successful Pearl at Longshore in Westport, CT. Antonio’s brand of hospitality is customer-centric, fun and welcoming with a dash of Italian flair.
